Terms & Conditions as of 2026

Amy's Bake Away

Orders & Payment

  • All orders must be paid as per your invoice.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Orders under €100 must be paid in full.

  • Final balance is due 10 days before collection (individual orders) or 14 days before (two-tier cakes).

  • If you confirm an order with less than 10 days’ notice, a rush fee will apply. Example: If you receive a quote and confirm with only 7 days left before your event, the rush fee still applies — even if your form was sent earlier. This fee helps cover the extra ingredients, time, and schedule adjustments needed to make your order happen on short notice.

  • Payments are online only via STRIPE; cash is not accepted.

Collection of Order

  • Collection dates/times are fixed after payment. Late arrivals may affect future orders.

  • You assume full responsibility for your cakes once collected.

  • Follow care instructions to maintain product quality.

Custom Designs & Flavours

  • Designs and flavours are final at booking.

  • Cakes are uniquely created from inspiration photos; no exact replicas.

  • Colours and flavours may vary slightly due to natural ingredients and food-grade dyes.

Allergens & Safety

  • Products may contain milk, egg, wheat (gluten), soya, nuts, sesame, and fish oils.

  • Not suitable for children under 3 if containing sugar sprinkles.

  • Cakes may include dowels; do not push faces into cakes.

  • Do not consume if you have food allergies; we are not liable for allergic reactions.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • All orders are final and non-refundable.

  • No refunds for changes in taste, colour, or event plans.

  • Rescheduling may be possible with 14 days’ notice; only one reschedule per order; rebooking fee may apply.

Liability & Care

  • Amy’s Bake Away is not responsible for damage, discolouration, or issues after the bakes has been handed over.

  • Maximum two tall candles per cake; cake toppers may be flammable.

Communication & Force Majeure

  • We handle all communication by email only so there’s a clear record for both sides. We don’t confirm or discuss orders over the phone.

  • Orders may be cancelled if contracts or payments are not received on time.

  • In rare cases of illness, accidents, or emergencies, we may offer a refund or alternative solution.

Images & Social Media

  • We do not provide progress images of cakes. However, if you would like, we are happy to share a copyrighted and watermarked photo of your bake once your order has been collected.

  • Orders may appear on Instagram @amysbakeaway; we welcome tags!

Please be aware that all our bakes contain wheat (gluten), dairy, eggs, and soybean, and are prepared in a kitchen that also handles nut products. Some items may also contain fish (oils) in sprinkles. We cannot guarantee that any of our products are free from any food allergens. Please take this into consideration when ordering.
